Wine bar and small hotel in a Georgian building on Bridge Street in Llangollen, dated 1775 and previously known as the Lion Inn coaching house. Richard Gale opened it as North Wales's first wine bar in 1977, and the wood-panelled bar has grown from nine tables to around twenty while keeping much of its original layout. Ownership has since passed on locally, with the Gale family still connected to the business.
