Here Gallery has traded on Stokes Croft since 2003, when its bricks-and-mortar shop was established on the street, and it is run as a cooperative by volunteers rather than a single proprietor. It sits within the same stretch of Stokes Croft associated with the area's street art and mural scene, though its own focus is gallery and bookshop trade rather than outdoor work. Opening hours run Tuesday to Saturday, with the gallery closed on Sunday and Monday. Because it operates without a single owner, decisions on stock and exhibitions are made collectively, a structure that has kept it running for more than two decades on the same street.
