Southville Guest House occupies a terraced house on Allington Road, run by owners Anton and Lily a short walk from North Street and about ten minutes on foot from the city centre. The eight rooms range from a single with a shared bathroom to a family en-suite sleeping four, each fitted with a sink, tea and coffee tray, and a television, with towels and shower gel provided. A self-service continental breakfast is set out each morning rather than a cooked service, and the house keeps free WiFi throughout. Street parking outside is free overnight and at weekends, with paid permits available for daytime stays. The house keeps the scale and feel of a private home let out room by room, rather than a hotel operation with a staffed reception desk.
