Inkspot &Silverleaf Booksellers

Inkspot & Silverleaf has traded from the east end of South Street, at its junction with North Street, since 2008. The independent bookshop carries new titles for adults and children across general stock, and also sells greetings cards, stationery, National Book Tokens and its own gift vouchers. It has twice been named one of Britain's Top 50 Bookshops by The Independent newspaper, and hosts author events and signings that draw writers to the town. The shop is a fixture of Bo'ness town centre, run as a single site rather than a branch of a larger group, and works with local schools and reading groups. Staff hand-sell and order in titles for customers, the kind of counter service that distinguishes a small bookseller from the chains. It remains one of the few dedicated independent bookshops in the Forth Valley.
