Jawbone Brewing operates from Unit C, 1 Strawberry Vale, a working boatyard on Swan Island in Twickenham, where founder Ben Hughes brews alongside his partner Emma. Hughes previously worked at Weird Beard before starting his own operation on the riverside site, next to Radnor Gardens on the Thames. The taproom pours the brewery's own beers directly from the tanks, including Trochulus Stout at 5.2 per cent and Waterfront Mob IPA at the same strength, alongside seasonal small-batch releases. Visitors reach the boatyard via a footpath rather than a conventional shopfront, and the surroundings include working boat repair sheds rather than typical bar fittings. The taproom opens Thursday to Saturday afternoons and evenings, drawing a mix of local drinkers and boatyard workers. Brewing takes place on site, giving customers a direct view of the process behind each pint.
