KWM Wines & Spirits has traded from Greencastle Street in Kilkeel since 1994, when the Imrie family took over an existing off-licence. It remains a family concern, run today by Andrew Imrie with his semi-retired parents Arnold and Jean and his sister Amanda. The shop stocks a wide range of beers, wines and spirits sourced from producers around the world rather than a standard supermarket selection, and has previously been named Northern Ireland Off-Licence of the Year. It keeps long hours for a small-town shop, from 9.30am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and midday to 9pm on Sunday, serving Kilkeel and the surrounding Mourne coast. It operates as a single independent shop rather than part of a chain, and also ships orders by mail.
