Cunningham Charters

Cunningham Charters runs private boat trips out of Greencastle Pier, at the mouth of Carlingford Lough near Kilkeel, with skipper Michael Cunningham also working from Warrenpoint breakwater depending on tide and weather. Trips are arranged individually rather than run as fixed scheduled sailings, covering sea fishing, sunset cruises and wildlife-watching for seals and seabirds along the lough, with views across to the Cooley Peninsula and the Mourne Mountains. The boat takes small private groups rather than operating a walk-on tour service. Cunningham grew up in the Mournes and skippers the charter himself rather than through hired crew. Trips run through the season by direct booking rather than an online ticketing system, and the business operates from this single base.
