Andrew Lowkes came out of Neal's Yard Dairy and Pump Street Chocolate to open Landrace on Walcot Street in early 2019, milling its own flour on a granite stone mill housed at Westcombe Dairy in Bruton — with wheat off the dairy's own land in the grist. The bakery counter runs Tuesday to Sunday; Upstairs, the small-plates bistro under chef Rob Sachdev, took fifteenth place on SquareMeal's UK Top 100 for 2026 with a Michelin Guide listing beside it; and La Pizza turns out eighteen-inch Roman rounds most evenings, reservation-free. Flour to plate, one staircase apart.
