Llantarnam Grange occupies a 19th-century manor house on St David's Road in Cwmbran, built on the site of an earlier property connected to Llantarnam Abbey. The building passed through use as a farmhouse and, after 1952, a postal sorting office, before reopening in 1966 as a societies club and becoming a dedicated arts centre under trustees in 1983. It now serves as a regional centre for the applied arts in south-east Wales, with a main gallery and a second space showing six exhibitions a year across sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, painting, photography and printmaking, plus a craft shop selling work by Welsh and UK makers. A café serves food until mid-afternoon. It is run as a registered charity, open Monday to Saturday, a short walk from Cwmbran train station.
