Lyndene Bedand Breakfast

Lyndene is a small bed and breakfast on Ward Street in Penistone, run by owners Paul and Sophie from a converted house a short walk from the town centre. The property has a handful of rooms: a classic double on the first floor, a deluxe king room built into the eaves on the top floor, and a deluxe double or twin room, each with an en-suite bathroom, oak furniture, a tea and coffee tray and a flat-screen television. A full English breakfast is served each morning and is included in the room rate. It is an adults-only property, aimed at walkers and cyclists using the Trans Pennine Trail and at visitors travelling between Sheffield, Barnsley and the Peak District rather than families passing through. Bookings are taken directly through the owners' own website rather than solely through third-party agents, and the house is run day to day by Paul and Sophie themselves rather than by paid managers.
