Megan Falconer is a jeweller and silversmith who trained on the Jewellery and Silversmithing degree at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design before setting up on her own around 2015. She worked from Deemouth Artist Studios in Torry for five years before building a studio at Woolmill, near Craigievar and Alford, which she opened in summer 2025 to mark ten years in business. A QEST scholar, she travelled to Shetland in 2020 for a week's training in chasing and repoussé with Rod Kelly at his South House Workshop, with her scholarship funding a further sixteen weeks of one-to-one tuition. She hand-makes silver, gold, platinum and palladium jewellery, taking bespoke commissions including engagement rings and heirloom remodels, and sells collections drawing on the Scottish landscape, including pieces cast from rock. The studio runs jewellery-making workshops for beginners and more experienced makers, bookable by appointment, and takes part in North East Open Studios each September.
