Northern Beer Temple occupies a shopfront on Standishgate in Wigan town centre, stocking bottled and canned beer from breweries across Britain and further afield alongside a changing line of cask and keg poured at a small bar inside. The shop doubles as a place to drink, with a handful of tables for anyone who wants to open a bottle on the spot rather than take it home, plus a beer garden to the rear.
