Paper Cup opened in 2017 at Block 11 of the ARC development on Queen's Road in Titanic Quarter, set up by husband-and-wife team John and Caroline McKinney. The single-site café sits within the ARC retail block beneath the ARC Apartments, overlooking Abercorn Basin, and serves coffee, bagels, paninis, homemade soup and stew alongside sweet treats and ice cream through the day. It has no other branches. The café draws custom from office workers and residents of the surrounding Titanic Quarter, an area still under active residential development around the former shipyard. Breakfast and lunch dishes make up the bulk of the menu, with soup and stew served through the colder months. Its position within the ARC development, some distance from Belfast's older café strips on the Lisburn and Ormeau roads, has made it a fixture for Titanic Quarter's newer residential population.
