The CourtyardRooms

The Courtyard Rooms offers self-catering guest rooms on the High Street in Brightlingsea, run by Angela and Ian, who took over the business in March 2023. Six en-suite rooms sit around a gated courtyard, each with its own front door, including a family room with a king bed and pull-out sofa bed and a room set aside for guests travelling with a dog. A shared lounge, dining area and kitchen give guests access to a washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer and cooking facilities, and free private parking is provided on site. The rooms are let on a room-only, self-catering basis rather than with breakfast service, which suits both leisure visitors and people working in the area for a few days. Brightlingsea's harbour, shops and pubs are a short walk away, and the property is currently rated top among Brightlingsea's guest accommodation on Tripadvisor.
