The Glove House occupies a Grade II listed building on Oxford Street in Woodstock dating back some 400 years, which once served as the workshop of Christopher Daggett, one of the town's largest glove manufacturers in the 1870s; local history records a visit by Benjamin Disraeli to the workshop in 1873. Owners Caroline and Francesco have converted the building into a boutique bed and breakfast with three rooms, named the Bladon Room, the Woodstock Suite and the Charlbury Suite. The single-site guest house sits within walking distance of Blenheim Palace and the town centre. Breakfast is served daily to residents, and the building's glove-trade history is referenced throughout its decor. Woodstock's former glove-making industry is documented in the Oxoniensia local history journal.
