Woodstock Bookshop

The Woodstock Bookshop opened on Oxford Street in May 2008, next to the town's bus stop, and has been shortlisted for the regional Independent Bookshop of the Year award three times. The shop stocks several thousand titles across fiction, children's books, poetry and local history, and can order most books in for next-day collection. It runs two monthly reading groups, one for poetry and one for fiction, and founded the Woodstock Poetry Festival, which the shop still organises. The bookshop also offers discounts for school orders and book clubs and provides free local delivery. It is dog-friendly and doubles as an event space for author readings.
