The North Wall Arts Centre in Summertown, Oxford, opened in 2007 on the site of a listed Victorian swimming pool building, which architects Haworth Tompkins incorporated into a new theatre and gallery complex. The venue holds a 200-seat theatre, dance and drama studios, and a public gallery with exhibitions that change roughly every three weeks and free admission. Programming runs to contemporary theatre, new writing, comedy, live music and family events, alongside the ArtsLab scheme supporting emerging artists. It sits on the grounds of St Edward's School but operates as a distinct public arts venue open to all, drawing more than 30,000 visitors a year across over a hundred performances and exhibitions. Box office and gallery hours run weekdays and Saturday afternoons.
