Hannah Yeadon, who trained at Camberwell School of Art in 1994 and later took an MA in Ceramics at Bath School of Art and Design, set up Oxford Clayhouse on North Parade in 2022, after running Canal Street Pottery from 2015. The studio has five potter's wheels, a kiln and a glaze room behind a shop on the small North Parade street. Hannah teaches six-week group throwing courses, private wheel and handbuilding lessons, and two-hour taster sessions for beginners, alongside making her own work, some of which has shown at the Crafts Council shop at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Classes run alongside her own studio practice rather than as a separate school.
