Oxford Brewery brews on Manor Farm in Horspath, on the edge of Oxford at the foot of Shotover Hill, in a converted stable building around two hundred years old. The business began in 2009 as the Shotover Brewing Company, founded by Ed and Pip Murray, before merging with the Oxford Craft Beer Company in 2021 to form the present single operation and taproom under the Oxford Brewery name. The brewhouse produces a core range of cask and keg ales alongside seasonal and one-off brews, sold on-site through the taproom and brewery shop as well as to local pubs. There is no second brewing site; the Horspath premises is the sole production and retail point. The taproom opens on selected afternoons and evenings, with tours and tastings available by arrangement.
