The LowerStreet Brasserie

A restaurant on Lower Street in Stansted Mountfitchet, in a 17th-century listed building with exposed brick, an original fireplace and a terrace for warmer weather. Simon Wells took it over in February 2019 with the support of his wife Kerri and daughter Lilli-Ann, their son Stanley following in 2021. Simon previously worked at Anton's by Anton Edelmann, COHO Brasserie and the Army and Navy Private Members Club; head chef Raffaele Rioda came from Lussmanns. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
