The Parade Cinema opened in September 2021 in a former United Reformed chapel of 1817 on The Parade, just off Marlborough High Street, giving the town its first cinema in around fifty years. The building had latterly been an antiques hall before conversion to a single-screen auditorium with stalls and a small balcony, seating a little over a hundred. It runs a mixed programme of new releases, art-house titles, live screenings and a Saturday children's club, and has a licensed bar and cafe serving through the day. The cinema is independently run, chaired by local businessman and art collector Robert Hiscox, and operates as a community-minded venue rather than part of a national circuit. It shows films most days of the week, with screening times and events listed on its own website and box office.
