A Grade I listed Gothic Revival chapel completed in 1877, still used for Sunday worship by an active Congregational congregation. Since the Union Chapel Project charity took over its upkeep in 1991, the building has doubled as a 900-capacity concert venue hosting around 250 gigs a year across folk, indie and spoken-word programming. It also runs a twice-weekly drop-in offering showers, laundry and advice for people facing homelessness.
