Bianchis occupies the York Road site in Montpelier that housed Bell's Diner for over forty years, reopened in 2019 by cousins Dom Borel and Ben Harvey as a trattoria named for their shared Italian grandparents. The menu runs through fresh pasta, wood-fired dishes and a wine list curated under the name Aldo's, alongside daily specials chalked up by the kitchen. Four small dining rooms are each named after one of the Bianchi sisters, giving the space a domestic, layered feel rather than one large room. Booking is recommended, particularly at weekends, when the restaurant fills with a mix of neighbourhood regulars and visitors drawn by its reputation. It operates as a single restaurant under this name, distinct from other Bristol restaurants the same owners run separately.
