Bookmark Falmouth

Bookmark is a second-hand bookshop at 34 Arwenack Street in Falmouth, close to the town's working port. It has been in the hands of owner Natasha (Tash) Berks since 2004, who stocks two floors of used titles spanning military history, transport, classics, poetry, travel and aviation, alongside a dedicated section of local and Cornish history. An upstairs room holds the bulk of the stock, and the shop has more recently added a small range of new nautical and maritime titles. The business trades from this single Arwenack Street address only. Customers routinely mention the shop's densely packed, browsable shelving and Berks's knowledge of her own stock as reasons for returning, in a trade increasingly dominated by online sellers.
