Gary and Jennie Chadwick have run Chadwicks Quality Family Butchers from Balham High Road since 1999. A member of the Q Guild of butchers, the shop specialises in organic and rare-breed meat sourced from named UK farms, alongside home-made sausages, pies and charcuterie prepared on site. A recent refurbishment gave the small counter new display cabinets and more room to show its range, without altering its footprint or family ownership. Chadwick, who trades under his own name, has built a following among local chefs and home cooks on consistency of provenance rather than volume. The business remains single-site, run day to day by the couple themselves rather than franchised, distinguishing it from unrelated farm shops trading under similar surnames elsewhere in England.
