Cobbetts Beer Shop& Micropub

Cobbetts opened as a specialist beer shop on West Street in 2010 and added a backroom micropub in 2014, taking its name from the Farnham-born writer and reformer William Cobbett. The shop sells cask, keg, bottled and canned beer to take away, alongside cider, gin, wine, prosecco and mead, with discounted refills for customers who bring their own containers. The micropub side keeps to the classic formula: a small bar with a rotating cask selection and a heated courtyard garden out the back. Orders can also be placed online for in-store collection, local delivery or courier shipping further afield. Dogs and children are welcome throughout, and the pub operates as a free house rather than tied to a single brewery.
