Colemans Garden Centre has traded from a ten-acre site on the Old Ballyclare Road in Templepatrick since 1965, making it one of the longer-established garden retailers in the area. A five-million-pound redevelopment completed in 2017 expanded the site to include a farm shop with butcher and deli counters, a café serving afternoon tea, and outdoor-living displays covering greenhouses, sheds, hot tubs and garden furniture alongside its core range of plants, shrubs, bulbs and compost. The centre is open seven days a week throughout the year and sits close to the M2 motorway corridor, drawing custom from across County Antrim and Belfast. It operates as a single site under Colemans Garden Centre Ltd, distinct from national garden centre chains, with independent food concessions trading inside its farm shop. Seasonal plant displays change through spring and Christmas, and the centre runs a loyalty scheme for regular gardeners.
