Colwith Farm Distillery stands on the fifth-generation family farm that Steve Dustow's family has worked at Lanlivery since 1904, and where he now grows the potatoes that become Aval Dor vodka and gin. The plough-to-bottle model means every stage happens on site, from planting through fermentation to distilling, a rarer approach than the buy-in neutral spirit most distilleries rely on. The distillery opened to visitors in 2018, adding an upcycled visitor centre, tasting bar, shop and seasonal café to the working farm. Tours run through the production sheds and past the fields that supply them, ending at the tasting bar. The vodka has picked up international spirits awards since launch. Steve still oversees both the farming and the distilling side of the business personally.
