There has been a bakery on this corner of Crouch End Broadway since 1850, and the Freeman family have run it since 1946 — six generations now, with Lewis Freeman baking today. Dunn's is a proper neighbourhood bakery: daily bread, cakes, and the elaborate celebration cakes it is known for, all from a single shop that has outlived every chain that opened near it.
