Small Beer occupies a former retail unit on Topsfield Parade in Crouch End, run as a freehouse with the leasehold held by Crouch End Tap Ltd rather than any pub company or brewery. The single room pours around three rotating cask ales and one cider alongside roughly twelve keg lines, sourced from small craft breweries rather than mainstream brands. Cocktails are also available alongside the beer list. The unit was converted from a retail shop into licensed premises in 2010, and today it draws a steady crowd of craft beer regulars from across Crouch End and the wider Topsfield Parade shopping row.
