Farnham Family Butchers opened on Downing Street in Farnham town centre in June 2024, when Becky Dawkins, who has 17 years of butchery experience, took the shop over with her husband Paul to run a business in her home town. The counter sells locally sourced meat and ready-to-cook cuts, with sausages, burgers and other products made on the premises rather than bought in. Alongside meat, the shop stocks chutneys, jams, cheeses and eggs from other small suppliers, giving it a modest deli sideline next to the core butchery trade. It is open Tuesday to Saturday, closed on Sundays and Mondays, and trades from a single shop on Downing Street rather than through a website or online ordering system. The business fills a gap left after the street's previous butcher closed, giving Farnham residents a counter-service option for advice on cuts and cooking rather than pre-packaged supermarket trays.
