Ferguson Meats runs its farm shop from Dreen Road in Cullybackey, opposite Queen's Park, having previously traded as a butcher on Ballymena's Church Street. The counter sells beef, lamb, pork, poultry and fish cut to order, alongside homemade sausages, burgers and vegetable rolls made on site. Fresh cuts sit next to a small grocery range, and the shop sources meat and poultry from named local suppliers rather than a single central distributor. It keeps butcher's hours rather than supermarket ones, opening Tuesday to Friday and closing mid-afternoon most days. The move from town centre to farm shop format let the business keep trade built up over the years while adding parking and space the old Church Street premises lacked. It is registered with Mid and East Antrim council as a retailer, and its most recent food hygiene inspection confirms it remains open and trading.
