Gwisgo Bookworm

Gwisgo Bookworm opened in Aberaeron in September 2017, when Niki and Karen Brewer took over the town's existing Bookworm shop on Alban Square and combined it with Karen's vintage-clothing sideline, Gwisgo. The shop holds more than ten thousand second-hand titles alongside new fiction, non-fiction, children's books and Welsh-language learner titles, plus a vinyl selection chosen by Karen spanning new and second-hand pressings. Shelves also carry Ordnance Survey maps, walking guides and leather bags. The pair launched the Gŵyl Lyfrau Aberaeron book festival in 2018 to bring together Welsh and English-language writers and publishers. The shop trades Tuesday to Saturday and is a member of the Booksellers Association, ordering in stock within one to three days.
