House of Olives opened on Cow Wynd in August 2024, run by chef Tomasz Grzesiak alongside his wife Nadia, who manages front of house, and Sylwia, who handles the books. Tomasz trained in hotel kitchens across Scotland before setting up on his own, and the menu draws on Spanish, Italian and French cooking rather than any single national style. Olives, cured meats and flatbreads open most meals, followed by grilled fish, tagines and slow-cooked lamb. The dining room seats a modest number of covers across close-set tables, with homemade cakes displayed by the counter for anyone calling in for coffee alone. Falkirk Council granted the restaurant's drinks licence in February 2025, after inspectors noted the interior had been reworked into a plain, modern dining room. It remains a family operation on all three fronts.
