Jacksons of Ballynure is a butchery, bakery and farm shop on Main Street, trading since 1850 and still run by the same family. The counter sells beef, pork and lamb prepared on site, while the bakery produces pies, cakes, scones and tarts. A small farm shop section stocks home-grown vegetables, eggs, jams and preserves sourced from local growers, and a coffee shop adjoins the counter for customers passing through. The business was named Butcher of the Year at the Northern Ireland Independent Retail Awards in 2019 and has picked up further trade recognition since. Celebration cakes are made to order for weddings and other occasions. The shop closes Sundays and trades six days a week, with an earlier finish on Fridays. It remains a single site in the village centre with no other branches, supplying walk-in customers and local hospitality trade alike.
