Jinney Ring occupies a former sixteenth-century farmstead a few miles from Droitwich Spa, converted into craft workshops after Jenny and Richard Greatwood bought Old House Farm and began restoring its barns, opening the centre on 5 July 1980. Richard and Jenny retired in 2005 and sold the business to Amanda and Malcolm Sunter, who still run it, though the Sunters have said they now plan to retire. The site houses a dozen resident craftspeople, including glass blowers, a wood carver, a violin maker and a pottery run collectively by a group of potters, alongside a farmhouse restaurant and gift shop. The Pottery offers two-hour taster sessions for individuals or small groups and evening courses through the year, open Thursday to Sunday from January.
