Light Bulb Coffee is a small-batch roastery and coffee shop on Devizes Road, run by Donovan, who started out serving espresso from a converted van before settling into permanent premises. The shop roasts its own beans on site, buying new-crop, speciality-grade lots that are fully traceable back to the farm, and pulls shots through a La Marzocco Linea Classic S paired with a Victoria Arduino Mythos 1 grinder. Regulars come for the seasonal single-origin filter alongside a standard house espresso blend, and staff are happy to talk through origin, process and roast date rather than rush an order. The space is small, with a handful of stools rather than a sit-down cafe layout, and beans are sold by the bag for people brewing at home. It sits a short walk from Old Town's main strip of independent shops.
