Lucy's Tearoom occupies a Grade II listed building on the market square in Stow-on-the-Wold, its flagstone floors and exposed beams reckoned to be around three hundred years old. The kitchen serves breakfast until midday, then moves through lunch dishes into cream teas, toasted teacakes and cakes baked on site, with plant-based and gluten-free options alongside loose-leaf teas and ethically sourced coffee. A bay window looks over the square, and a courtyard round the back gives shelter for warmer months, with an inglenook fireplace for the opposite end of the year. Above the tearoom, two ensuite guest rooms make it a bed and breakfast as much as a place to eat, with a full English served downstairs each morning. Seating is first come, first served; no tables are held by reservation.
