Moygannon Nurseries began in 1992 as a family horticultural business on the Moygannon Road, in the countryside between Warrenpoint and Burren. Much of what it sells is grown on site, and the centre stocks bedding plants, shrubs, trees, herbaceous perennials and seasonal lines alongside compost, pots and garden sundries. The nursery background means staff can advise on what suits local conditions in the Carlingford Lough area, and the range shifts through the year from spring bedding to Christmas stock. It remains a single-site, family-owned operation rather than part of a national garden-centre group, trading from the same rural location where it started. The site is a short drive from Warrenpoint town and Rostrevor, and serves gardeners across the southern end of County Down. Opening is generally seven days a week, with reduced Sunday hours.
