Naomi's Glass

Naomi's Glass is a stained and fused glass workshop run from a home studio at 1 Norfolk Street, just off Bishopthorpe Road. Naomi has made stained glass since October 2000 and fused glass since August 2013, and now runs group lessons alongside her own commissioned pieces. A standard adult lesson runs two hours and lets participants make up to seven fused glass pieces, which are then kiln-fired over two to three days before collection or posting. Shorter sessions are available for children from age four, and the studio also takes bookings from Brownie and Guide groups and home-schooling families. Finished work is sold through Naomi's own website and through an Etsy shop reaching customers outside York. Lessons run by appointment rather than on a walk-in basis, reflecting the studio's scale as a one-person operation.
