Number 47 is a long-established, family-run bed and breakfast on Main Street in Grassington, set in a house built in the seventeenth century as two miners' cottages. The inglenook fireplace in the sitting room dates from the same period and remains the room's centrepiece. Guests choose between a double with a super king bed and a twin room, both with private bathrooms, and a small adjoining single can be added for a third guest in the same party. Breakfast is served in an open-plan kitchen rather than a separate dining room, giving the house something closer to the feel of staying with family than a hotel. It has been featured in House Beautiful and 25 Beautiful Homes, and sits on Grassington's Main Street, within walking distance of the village's shops and pubs.
