Otley Museum and Archive Trust is managed and run by volunteers, currently without a permanent home. The artefacts went into storage in May 2010, when the museum left Otley Civic Centre, which had housed it since 1961. The documentary and photographic archive is open to the public by appointment at Wellcroft House, Otley. Holdings include prehistoric stone tools from the middle Wharfe valley, material from the Archbishop of York's palace at Otley, and printing machine industry archives. Temporary themed displays continue in the town.
