Rigsby's occupies a house built in 1900 on Thorne Road, less than a mile from Doncaster town centre, and has been run since 2013 by owner Tracy, with help from housekeeper Georgina. The guest house offers five individually decorated en-suite bedrooms and serves breakfast to residents each morning. It operates as a single, independently owned property with no sister branches, within reach of Doncaster Racecourse and Cusworth Hall Museum. Tracy has continued to run the property personally since taking it on, maintaining the period features of the Victorian building while updating guest facilities such as bathrooms and Wi-Fi. It is one of a small number of independent guest houses remaining on this stretch of Thorne Road.
