Cast Doncaster

CAST is Doncaster's main theatre, built inside the shell of the former Doncaster Civic Theatre on Waterdale following a 2012-13 rebuild funded partly by Arts Council England and the European Regional Development Fund. It reopened in September 2013 with two performance spaces, a 620-seat main stage and a 200-seat second space, and is run by an independent charitable trust rather than a national touring operator. The programme mixes touring drama, comedy and music with shows produced in-house, and there is a cafe bar in the foyer on performance days.
