Route 7Cafe

Route 7 is a family-run café on the second floor of the Highland Home Centre in Aviemore's Dalfaber industrial estate, run day to day by Charli and Richard. The kitchen serves cooked breakfasts, soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes and cakes, with vegetarian and vegan options alongside standard fare, and was named winner of Best Cafe Food in Scotland in 2025. Being inside a furniture and homeware showroom rather than on the high street, it draws a mix of shoppers and locals rather than passing tourist trade, and has built a following for its all-day breakfasts. The café is independently owned and operates from this single site only, with no other branches. It offers sit-in or takeaway service and is reached by lift or stairs from the ground-floor showroom.
