Shed 35Brewery

Shed 35 began in late 2016 when three friends working in the oil industry turned a hobby of home brewing, started at the bottom of a garden shed, into a working craft brewery in Carnoustie. The business is now run by John Wilson, who developed the recipes and handles production and sales from the Chapman Drive site. Beers are cask and bottle conditioned and sold through local pubs, farmers' markets and stockists across Angus and further afield, rather than through a chain of tied houses. The brewery keeps its ale range modest and locally focused, trading on the same small-batch approach it started with rather than expanding into mass production. It stands as one of the few independent breweries still working out of Carnoustie itself.
