Studio One Ceramics operates from the Collage Arts studio building on Coburg Road in Wood Green, founded by Martha Todd, who holds a master's degree from the Royal College of Art. She teaches alongside Sophia Staves, running evening classes and daytime workshops in hand-building and surface decoration for all abilities. The studio also offers instruction in sculpture and specialist techniques such as mould-making and slip-casting. Beyond classes, Studio One Ceramics provides a kiln-firing service for people who make work at home but lack the equipment to fire it themselves. The studio sits within a wider arts complex shared with other makers, giving students access to a working ceramics community rather than an isolated classroom. Sessions run in small groups so that Todd and Staves can give individual guidance to each student's project.
