Tees Barrage InternationalWhite Water Centre

Purpose-built white water course on the River Tees beside the barrage, used for canoeing, kayaking and rafting sessions as well as elite training. Sessions run for complete beginners through to experienced paddlers on the artificial rapids, and the centre, run by charitable trust Tees Active, is one of only a handful of such courses in the country.
