Backstreet corner pub near Leyton tube station, a free house since 1991 in a building that has served as a pub since 1881. Its decorative tiled frontage survives outside, while inside it keeps a proper two-bar layout, a large screen for football and a garden for summer drinking, with a changing cask ale list.
