Bocca Bocca opened in Leytonstone on 6 August 2021, the second venture from local entrepreneur Gianluca Colini, who had earlier run Unity Café nearby. The restaurant serves Neapolitan-style pizza cooked in a custom-built oven imported from Campania, alongside antipasti and a pasta menu introduced later that first summer. Décor takes its cues from the Amalfi coast, with terrazzo-topped tables, banquette seating and a palette of pastel tones running through the dining room. The kitchen sources from a mix of hyper-local suppliers and Italian importers, rotating dishes with the seasons; a Bocca Bocca pizza topped with pistachio paste and mortadella has become a fixture of the menu. An Italian-focused wine and Prosecco list accompanies the food, and there are plans to extend the space with a street-facing terrace for outdoor dining.
